This research aims to determine the speed of recovery of moderate gingivitis who receive treatment with chlorhexidine more destartraje destartraje 0.12% against conventional recovery of gingival clinical features after this procedure. To this end a balanced quasi experimental factorial design was used because two stimulus variables used. The data collected then processed and analyzed concretely generated a basic fact that most destartraje 0.12% chlorhexidine was faster and more effective than conventional recovery destartraje in gingival surface color texture, consistency and gingival bleeding concordance calculation chi2; however both methods were equally effective in normalizing the gingival contour, gingival size, position and actual apparent gingival gingival position according to the statistical test of chi2 and T tests for the last feature considering a significance level of 0.05. With the result that the 0.12% chlorhexidine destartraje is faster than conventional destartraje, looks for the GE results of the 33 patients, 32 completed treatment in a 3rd session and only 02 patients in a 4th session coming to normalize gingival clinical features, and the GC 33 patients reached the 4th session requiring some more sessions to reach standardize gingival clinical characteristics. Contrasting the results obtained, the hypothesis formulated was confirmed, because the 0.12% chlorhexidine destartraje was faster and more efficient than conventional Destartraje recovery of moderate gingivitis with a significance level of 0.05.
